McDees - remember THIS?

Thought this picture might bring back memories to some of you (OTHER) old farts...! (First McDees sign I ever saw was in Seattle area back around 1958 - the sign said OVER A THOUSAND SERVED!)

That is when you could get a meal in about 10 seconds with great customer service. Forget about the term "Fast Food" now and don't get me started on customer service these days.

cool old picture. The first one I remember would have been in the sixties when we drove "all" the way out to Richmond (BC) to try out this new place. I believe it was the first one in Canada.

Or it might have been in 1963, as those were the two times I visited my aunt and uncle by myself (on my Triumph Thunderbird in '63)....

At home we all hung out at the A&W - VERY CUTE car-hops...!
