First time caller, long time listener.

I've been road racing for quite awhile, just sold my R6 to buy a bike to ride to Alaska next summer. I'll be picking up a versys later this week and I joined to learn as much as possible about the new to me bike. I promise I won't asl what is the best oil or how to take off a wheel.

It does Ok, a bit slower than the R1 it replaced. This will be my first twin, I'm used to I-4's with 14K or better redlines. And I haven't ridden on the street in more than 10 years, only ridden on a track or on the dirtbike, so that will be a change.
