Well, I guess that answers the Q of why I can't post a Q myself. I tried doing a search for starting issues but could not find one. Surely there has to be one or maybe old threads get tossed after a period of tiem? If anyone knows of any such threads for the Versys, could you please post the link for it.

Just getting in my second post to be able to communicate.

My 2008 beauty came used to me in 2011 with 1,280 miles on it and a load of farkles.

Power Commander Module
Braided steel brake lines
Ducati end of handlebar mirrors
Givi rear luggage rack
Racing tail kit
Corbin seat
Arrow exhaust
Pazzo levers

And I got it for base blue book value at that time

Since then I've added a Givi V46 Monokey top case with back rest for the wife, Knight Design lower pegs, and Hepco & Becker engine guards.

I'm strictly an about town rider with an occasional 100 mile trip.

I love this bike.

Now I'm ready to start posting.

Here's my new to me 2009 bought last year with only 4500 miles on it.





I've added an MRA shield, Motech engine guard, GIVI bags and trunk. In addition I wired the brake lights the saddlebags the running light in the trunk to improve the somewhat poor rear visibility of the original lighting.

I can't wait for spring and the opportunity to go ride the heck out of this thing.
