I was driving the other day with my winter gloves and the town ride was good but once I went uphill and away from the sun my hands froze.
I was looking at the handlebar muffs as a solution so i decided to ask you: Has anyone used them? Are they practical and do they do the job?
I use them and they work great for me. If you have hand guards while using the bare ends its a little snug for the thumbs for using turn signals and starter switch but not a big issue. With out the bar ends works fine. Using them without hands guards during very strong winds the muffs would touch the clutch and brake levers but again caused no issues. When i use them in winter all i need as far as gloves goes is the mechanic thin work glove or no gloves at all........ IMG_0618 by weljo2001, on Flickr
I have them and for me they work up to a point. It is a big improvement over not having them that's for sure, but in colder days (like this morning ) I would sure like to have heated grips or gloves.
