I tried to find a post with this info but im a bit lost.
I have an 09 Versys of course, and I ordered replacement bulbs online. I used the what fits my bike feature and came up with a set of #PIAA H7 bulbs. They seem to have a smaller plug than my stock bulbs? What is the correct part # or am I missing something simple here? Thanks
The silverstars are much better...also make sure your headlight isn't pointing 5 feet in front of the front tire like so many V's did from the factory.
That was it. Thanks so much.
Now the problem is last time my lamp went out, I was on a long long ride. I moved the bright up to the headlamp position and I cant remember what I did with the burned out bulb and adapter? I suppose the dealer might have this part? I wish I would have remembered to separate them before throwing the old bulb out. **&^%. Thanks again.
You can buy HID kits online on ebay for about $30. Installed on on on my low beam. Not sure how well they work as a high beam though because they take 15seconds to reach full brightness.
Yes, are HID, so no filament.
I installed them in projectors, not directly in the headlight, high beam is instant. (it flips a cover inside the projector)
