Take a look - I am loving it. The fact that this is becoming a standard for the goldwing will surely mean that it makes it way to other bikes in the future.
The big plus I see is that there is no "cord" wired between the rider and the bike, its all done via sensors like a car.
Seems like it could help. I just hope it doesn't make some riders complacent thinking that it and abs can take the place of constant vigilence and good judgement.
Optional Automatic Dual-Clutch Transmission (DCT)Shift with the push of a handlebar-mounted button, or select the NC700X's automatic mode and the bike will shift itself. DCT has been a huge hit on our other models, and once you ride an NC700X with DCT, you'll see why.
Guys I had 4 Wings over the years the last being an 1800 before it got too heavy and downsized to the V.I became increasingly frustrated by the time needed to change the air filter on the wings, massive amount of disassembly to do,all the airbag gubbins I think is under the dummy tank so would make this job even longer and of course some weight issues.
Having said all that concept is good and any additional safety for the rider is to be applauded, just my thoughts.
