Yeah, and I figured it out... Took some trial and error, but eventually got it squared away!

    Hey there!
I just bought a used givi e55 that has the light kit preinstalled... Where do those two clamps plug/clamp onto to get the lights going? I remember from our last ride that you had that setup...

I'd be guessing the battery if it's the original one. Haven't heard of any starter problems on the Versys or Ninja 650R.
    Keep me posted.

I have almost 22K so I thought it was about time. I would do it, but having never done it and no friends that have I figured I should have it done professionally. I would hate to screw it up and have to spend even more on repairs.

Valves? I suppose the folks at Atlanta Motor World in Roswell/Alpharetta would be the ones to try. You know how I feel about them, but they should have more experience with the Versys by now. I know they've been selling the 650 Ninja, too, so they ought to know the motor. Checking valves is not exactly rocket science, but you need to be a decent mechanic to figure out whether shims should be replaced or not. I haven't gotten my mileage up that high yet so I haven't thought about it. School (for me) ends next week so I will begin to have more time for riding soon. Keep in touch.

I bought a motorcycle because my wife said that I couldn't! Now I have two and she still says I can't have another one! Sounds like a challenge to me!

    Now I have three!
