Lovely to hear from you Andreas.... that's nice of you to add some extra features to your wife's bike - that will keep up the sporty look like your V-storm... I now have added a larger front screen and when my panniers arrive (soon) that will only be used of course for touring - but should be good. Thanks and enjoy our wonderful sport of touring Bikes... all the best to you both for 2010.... Andreas56

Hello Andreas56 , odd writing to an Andreas. Sorry I have not respomded earlier, were you commenting on the Capitol Reef pictures I posted? I see you just joined the forum, hope you enjoy it and your Versys. I bought a new shield for the wifes versys, and this x-mas some handgaurds. In a few monthes I'll get her some crashgaurds and maybe liders. She lets me farkle her bike, I'm almost done with my Vstrom.
    Safe holidays !!!!!!!

Hi there... I was just asking if anyone has changed there drive sprockets on their Versys.... here in Adelaide we have 50kph speed limits on our side roads (main type roads are 60kph... and obviously we have higher speeds on the main roads ie: 80kphs 100kphs etc.) I find that the 50 or 60kphs - my 2008 Versys doesn't like that sort of low speeds @ 2,800 - 3,000rpms... has anyone change their gearing on there bike for the same reason.... I'm going to after the Christmas holidays see the local Kawasaki dealers and see if the ER650 Kawa sprockets (front and rear) will sort out my problem.... hopefully they will have different sprocket sizes than what I got now... any info would be very much appreciated thanks. Happy Cruising.... Andreas
