sorry just saw your message,yes it comes apart. if you remove the pivot plate and flip it over it will place the lever right at your thumb.(look at my pics close) makes it much easier to flip on/off order cc2 single cable

One more thing. Did you buy the single-cable version or the double-cable version? I don't see a difference. Thanks

I'm considering the NEP lock for my V. I've installed Oxford heated grips and don't wan to remove them for the install. It looks like the NEP lock comes apart though. Is that correct?
