This is really a dumb question but how does somebody pay another member through pay pal? How do you sell stuff and they pm you and what? Pay pal to the exact price? I don't get it?

Hi, after reading so many posts about seats, I now can't remember what kind of seat you have. It looks like the best one I have seen (the wide one posted on Flicker). Please, where did you get it?

Flew out to LA July 1st, rented an F650GS from Motoquest in LB and road up to Cayucos for 4 days. I love California! I see why you spend most of your time there. I would! Can't wait to plan a trip on either my V or my next bike which will be...?

Sounds good! I ordered SS brake lines for my bike and was wondering if you knew a trick to bleeding them. I'll look through the forums for any ideas but if you know of anything I'd appreciate the help. Mike

To make the frame I used 3/8" steel rod bent around the edge of a piece of 3/4" plywood cut into the shape of the bag. I had some 3" x 3/16" steel strap from a gate project. My welds are strong but not very neat. A 14mm socket fits over the subframe hex head and welds to that strap. All coated with black epoxy appliance paint. A lot of "eye-ballin" and dry fitting to make sure things look symmetrical.
If the ride to Junction, Tx is a success I'm considering a ride out to Cali. 1st of July to visit a friend in Cayucos for a few days then on to Denver to see my brother and do some trout fishing.

I've registered at the local motel in Junction and will be sending in my registration for the TAR. I'm trying to convince a buddy at work to ride his 05 BMW F650 Dakar. I'm going to take some more pics of my bike and some of the things I've done with it and post them on the weekend.
