Chris I am about to follow your seat mod. It did improve not sliding forward correct? I tested one of my staple guns like you have on the seat pan and the staple just bent barely going in. Did you use a special staple? I am going to my get memory foam tomorrow and hopefully find that 2 sided finishing foam that you bought. Great post looking forward to trying it out!

The Leo Vince came from the US factory distribution center in San Jose, CA. They are about $400. https://www.leovinceusa.com I don't see just the can listed by itself, you might have to give them a call. You should anyway if you want one, they'll either give you a discount or refer you to a dealer that will. Where did you get the exhaust and how much was it?

CJ, It is the one you can purchase direct from your Kawasaki dealer. It's made by Givi and has the Kawasaki logo on the trunk.

I was born in Melbourne and travelled NZ / US /Canada in 1979 - 1982, and met my wife Scuba Diving in West Vancouver.

She moved to Melb & we got married in 1987 and we moved to Sydney in 1992 and Vancouver in 2007.

I love it here, and I doubt I could have afforded a Versys in Oz.

I am only a newby and I think JDROCKS may be a bit wild / fast for me

I took Wicked Kitty and her husband on a 3 Versys tour of Salt Spring Island today - a lot of fun

I was born in '57 and started riding motorized cycles in about 1968. Have owned dozens of bikes and enjoyed them all.

Looking to do some adventure type riding, campouts, scenic routes, exploring. The Versys is a perfect motorcycle to do that with.

You got it CJ! And I agree. That's why I spend so much time here.

The spammers get on here all the time. Sometimes we get them fairly quickly, other times they seem to hang around a little while until one of us mods come along & delete 'em. It's a little annoying, but not a lot we can do about it. Our site owners seem to be content with the way things are.

When you see a spam post, and you want to let us know, all you have to do is click the little red triangle in the upper right corner of the offending post. It'll send an alert to all mods & admin. But if you don't, it's ok, there are MANY who see them & report it.

One thing to keep in mind, there are only two mods, me & lonerocks, and one admin, AF_Don. We all have jobs & lives, so we may not get to it right away, but rest assured, as soon as one of us gets a chance, we'll get 'em!!
