Yeah, we need to go for a ride someday. The weather has to be a little better for me though.

I know you can still fish around the bouys, but it's not the same for me. There is another small lake down the other side of Buena Vista called Deer lake. It's small, but I've caught a lot of fish there. There's also the lake right in town in Salida that I caught the biggest trout I ever have.

On your Versys, I thought I put a Power outlet on the Right side of the dash. I know I did on my 09.

That trip to Ca. & back seems like a long but fun one. I used to fish in Twin Lakes all the time but now the Govt has blocked off the best fishing at the spillway because of the supposed threats.

I lived in Fairplay for 6 years and know a lot of good fishing places up there. Anyway, have fun.

Joe, Sorry to hear about your "get-off". Hope you walked away unscathed. Thanks for the vid. I ordered the racing style lines that connect to the double banjo bolt at the pot. I never liked that stock cross over set up. I'll let you know how things go and send a few pics if I don't forget to take some. mike

I was going to install my SS brake lines so i bought the bleeder valves & bleeder hose and bag. But i got in the wreck so i had to have the brake pedal replaced so i just had the shop do the brake lines. But theres a few videos on youtube about it.

Looks good might have to use that. I have soft bags but only use them on long trips.
