Hi Speedy, One of the members, fastoman is giving me his lowering kit when his wife and daughter come over in Dec to visit his other daughter studying at university here.
We already did communicate in the past about my bike if you may remember that since my bike has the Ninja shock it would be not advised to buy one from you but since it is being given to me it may be worth trying it out. It more for my wifes benefit who is 5 '6 and is using my versys more often these days.
My question is has anyone put this on to the shorter Ninja shock like this before and I suppose I would have to lowerer the front down as far as it will go.
Hi, thank yopu for your reply. I have lowered the pegs and will be getting a Russell day long seat . Thank you for your opinion on lowering the bike . I guess I will just have to live with it as it is.......
Hi, I have a 2008 Versys with a lowering kit that was made a few years ago, not sure how low it lowers the bike amore. Anyway... I a 61 years old and live with disabilites...lower back and knees. I have a 29-30 inseam and lowering kit helps but can you make one that will lower the bike even more ? Not sure how low one can go and still be safe. I already have a lowered seat.
Hi Speedy, I have just bought a new Versys 650 and was wondering if you could give me a bit of advice. I am 170 cm (5'7") tall. I have tried friend of mine's (kiwi 41) versys which was lowered by 1 inch and I was ok on it. I am thinking of ordering you lowering kit and wonder if I need foot pegs lowered. I thought since I am not that tall I could do with just the basic lowering kit. Thank you for your advice. Pavel
Hey Speedy , I want to thank you for prompt service and great products . The lowering link has really helped bring down the height of my new Versys and now I can reach the ground with some confidence and not tip toes . Keep up the good work .
Yes, it is 100% guranteed to fit the 2009 Versys model. No worries there.
