Yep, that was me. I had just finished up my second run of the Dragon that day and had to stop in when I saw two red V’s sitting there. (It was good to meet you two and the burger was great as well.)
I hope your trip went well. I got one more day in on 129 before the weather went south. Unfortunately it looks like it will be late summer/early autumn before they get it reopened after the rockslide.
I finally managed to get back on two wheels last weekend and did my first 5+ hour day. I just turned onto roads I’ve never travelled before and kept going. I love this bike. It didn’t matter if the road was twisty as heck or full of sweepers, the V just ate it up and begged for more. I do foresee a new seat in my future (I’m thinking a Baldwin tall) as well as a GPS, and some luggage of some sort. Other than that, this thing is perfect!
Hi SevenSixTwo, I think I saw you at the Tail of the Dragon back in October at the Harley shop/restaurant. My buddy and I had the two 08 V's and you(?) had the green one. I wish I'd gotten a picture of three V's at a Harley place but I was to ready to get on the Dragon as I'd never been on it. If that was you I'm sure you really love your bike now that it's no longer the breakin period!
