Hope u and ur family r in good health as always... I was reading bout the selection of sprocket size when i noticed u too had changed to 15/44. FYI,i had recently for the first time @ 32xxxkm replaced my set and maintained stock size of 15/46.

On several trips lately, I noticed that the bike little bit harsh at hi-speed, as if it could use a 7th gear. Did some reading on this and it seems the selection of size of the front/rear sprocket would help solve this problem.. even ask Bro Bard of his view. It seems that many riders suggest 16/46 would be good combination. What your view on this and why are u using 15/44? Initially, i was thinking of changing to rear 44 only but Bard suggested 16/46..

Now i am not sure which combination is good, less good, etc... But i m certain that i prefer smooth drive at high rpm. Little bit of decrease in pick-up is ok, as i believe the bike is quite torqy and would accommodate it..
