Not sure why you can't line it up I put in on in about 10 minutes everything fit fine. It is a direct replacement windscreen from Kawasaki I work at the local kawasaki dealer and ordered it myself right from Kawi. I think I had it mounted up towards the top of the stock bracket. I will look at work tomorrow and see if I maybe forgot to send something but am positive I just used all the stock hardware.Will let you know.
