    Hey Bean,

The two side fairings have to come off in order to get the windshield mounts off. It's not that hard, six screws on each side and you can't really screw it up. The mounts have two bolts each that are easy to get to after that. For the little screen I just made a paper template and zip tied the screen on using two holes I drilled. The plastic used is actualy plexiglass that was painted on both sides. I also used the plexi on a small screen that mounts to the factory brackets, looks good too. Right now though for the winter months I use a tall screen made again out of plexi. Cheers.

    Hey cuff,
I saw your no windshield pic and love the look. How did you do about doing that. Do the windshield mounts come off without removing the whole front fairing? Did you just lay out and cut plexi glass and slide it in the space? I would appreciate any help or advice. If the whole front fairing has to come off I might not try to undertake the whole project. Thanks in advance.

Hi there Cuff, are you the one with the tricked out off-road green versys ? I see your name associated with the picture in a couple of locations. [modded versys]..... Anyway, if you are, I noticed you have a spoked rear wheel. What did you get that off of ? [if you don't mind me asking] The versys wheel [hub] is an inch wider than any off road wheel I have in my garage, and I have my reservations about making spacers for the sprocket & Disk to get them to line up...... Thanks... crspep
