Hey BikeMike, I have seen a few different ways of doing it. Check out this link if you haven't already: http://www.kawasakiversys.com/forums...ead.php?t=4500
Mine is pretty simple but effective. I used metal strapping tape and some scrap rubber to protect the shock tubes. Put some screws through the existing fender hole and the metal tape and tighten it up. Cheap and effective. –A
Oh, I just responded on the thread. Oh well, the front is a 120/90, narrower than the rear and taller than the stock front tire. When lifting the fender you have to figure out what to do with the brake lines. Some guys get dual lines; me, I'm cheap and fashioned a brake line retainer using some steel from the hardware store. A few bucks and it holds the lines away from the tire just fine. I posted a couple more pix on the thread. I'm not certain but I think you can see the brake line retainer if you look closely. Depending on how high you go with the fender you might also want to look at covering the fork tubes. Wouldn't want to get them all chipped up from rocks and such. Also search for a thread called "high front fender." A lot of your questions will be answered there. Good things -A
