Yes, my mother was American, Dad was Canadian. They met at a dance in Whiterock in 1955. They married and moved up to Vancouver and I was born a year later. Mom was homesick and Dad was tired of working at the steel foundry in the day and driving cab at night, so they sold the house and moved to Seattle. My two sisters were born there. I'm the oddball with the Canadian birth certificate. So that's my story. Dad never did naturalize, he had a greencard 'till he died about 7 years ago. We sure loved Canada though. I keep threating to move back if they don't fix things down here!

My wife and I moved from the Seattle area to southern California in '92.

Sounds like you should hook up with JDROCKS and do some adventure rides!

HEY! Just wanted to let you know that Shannon and I are heading over to Salt Spring Island in a couple weeks for some camping! We arrive on Thursday 26th and leave on the Sunday. I remember Shannon mentioning that you and your wife spend quite a bit of time over there- is that by chance a weekend you'll be there? It would be awesome to gert together for coffee or something! We'll be staying at Garden Faire campsite right close to Ganges, but we know there's a couple DH's and a TE we want to ride! (if you're familiar with Destination Highway books) so we could always meet you else where!
