handlebars haven't been lowered I swapped them out for a set of Protaper ATV Mids and painted the riser flat black ..its possible to run some clip-ons if you want to go super low. I think however you would need to run shorter clutch and brake cables

Hey I saw one of your earlier posts of your V. How did you lower your handlebars after removing the fairing? I am having issues finding a new riser due to the holes being off set.

    Heya Purificator,
The bar is just an aluminum tube from a hardware store cut and bent to size which i did myself ...I have modified it and now don't have the center bit and have used a couple of hose clamps to attach the footrests on each side of the motech bars..apparently if you go over a large enough bump its possible for your front fender to get caught on the original full length bar.
in my experience the SW Motech bar is by far your best option and wouldn't hesitate recommending it ..i have ridden away from a fall with them where as my original H&B bars (in an accident) bent back and went through my radiator.

    Hello,
I saw your naked V which really looks awesome!
I'm worried about my V and I would like to buy a crash bar for it...I saw on one of the picture that you have an SW MOTECH but that is a middle bar stick out and running from the two sides of the bike in front of the radiator, where did you buy it?
generally, I'm hesitant between Motech and H&B, what is your advice based on your experience with the crashs.

    Thanks a lot
