Ride to the Roof of the World

Another adventure ride by Malaysians, this time to the Himalaya n the highest motorised road in the world @ 18,380 feet above sea level.

A couple of Kawasaki bikes (Versys n KLR 650) in the team.

Check out this link for ride report.

You will need to translate from Bahasa Malaysia to English, but the photos speak for themselves !..

Enjoy reading.

Had to fly back today from Hamilton to Christchurch in a smaller propeller plan rather than the jet 737 we went up in and they fly a bit lower at 18,000 feet as the jets seem to go up to 40,000 feet. Thought the height was very interesting as on my bucket list is to ride a bike on the highest road in the world at 18,000 feet so took a few pics of what it look like at 18,000 and also being lower gave me some better shots of the hills.
