I was curious if anyone has used a PL14610 Oil Filter on their Versys? (This is the 3,25 inch long filter.) I have an Auto Parts store so close to me that carry this filter, and just wondering what you may think? I have heard good things about this brand, but not much about motorcycle use of them.

I have used them. No problems noted. They seem to always be in stock at Pep Boys.

Yes, it fits well and gives you a larger filter area.

I have always used K&N oil filters on my bikes. I used to think all filters were the same until I read this review: http://http://www.tpoparts.com/articles/oilfiltercompare.html
This is really an eye opening article and should be read by everyone who wants to take the best care of thier motorcycle.

Yep - I run one on the Versys. By coincidence, the 14610 filter is the OEM size for my Acura RSX and also fits the wife's Honda Insight...so that simplifies things quite a bit.
I've heard good things about the PurOne, so that is pretty much all I use unless I get in a pinch.
I use it, as well. It fits on multiple bikes.
