Now that we got that out of the way - I am planning on going up to Windy Ridge on Sunday. I figured I have not seen most of the usual suspects in about a year, and we have many more new rider's both in the PDX and Pugetpolis areas. Let's meet for lunch in Randle and ride up to Windy Ridge.

After lunch we'll ride FS-25 and FS-99 Windy Ridge. It's only 40 miles to WR, but probably takes an hour each way from Randle. The PDX riders can continue south from the bottom of FS-99 through Cougar back to PDX.

I can't make it due to illness, but I hope others join you. The road up to windy ridge has only been open for a couple weeks or more, so be leary of sand and gravel from the snow plows.

It opened on June 25th. It was a beautiful day up there :D:

It's mostly gone by now, but the usual caution is required when riding forest service roads, especially up there where land slides happen all the time.

I wish I could make it but I have family in town and it happens to be family I want to be with. If it were other relatives, I would be right there with you. Take a bunch of pictures and post a ride report for us left behind.
