I asked Doug from trackdaytyres in Staffordshire UK... His response:
"Hi, my colleague Mike makes them.
Cheers, Doug."

Bummer.... That will make shipping a little steep. I'll experiment some more with my cheapo/diy solution.

I wish there were more options as I think the one with Versys etched in the front is kind of cheesy. I'm just not into flashy stuff. I'd rather have subtle things on the bike.
This one is quite nice, I'd just be paying crazy amounts to get one here to the states. Oh well, hopefully someone else will realize that people are buying this bike and build a good one.

Rad Guard Australia makes a nice one in black or natural aluminum color, but for nearly $200: http://www.radguard.com.au/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_2_59_64&products_id=257
Cox Raging Group (OR, USA) has an anodized aluminum one as listed for EX650R available in black, red, titanium or silver for $69.95: http://shopping.netsuite.com/s.nl/c.ACCT110029/sc.2/category.60/.f

Will the Cox Racing one for the EX650 work on the Versys? I read that the radiator on the Versys is bigger than the EX650. I would buy one from them in an instant as I've had their radiator guards on my last 3 bikes and they work wonderfully.

I called Cox Racing and they don't know either if it also fits the Versys which has a different radiator part number. He mentioned that it does fit on Ninja 250. Also, rad guard # 113-11450 listed as silver is not a valid number, #113-11451 is the valid silver option...
There's a good chance it fits, I just don't have access to a Ninja 650R to verify.

Where are all the North American supplier, I dont want to pay that much for shipping , unless sexy ladies are flying in on green Versys and installing it for me

Homemade, piece of decorative sheet metal from sheet metal shop, $20 remnant. I crimped a hook edge on top and it hangs on that lip on top of the radiator.

I think the best looking and best value commercially made guard would have to be by Evotech (http://www.evotech-performance.com/acatalog/info_7440.html).
I have just ordered one and the total cost including shipping from UK to Australia was $85 AUD. Compared to locally made products like the Radguard (link posted by Invader) at $200 it is an absolute bargain (and looks way better too IMHO).

cheap USD 2 only. Just cable tie it to the Rad. Almost a year no problem at all.
