I got caught in some heavy rain today and had a chance to test my Dunlop Roadsmart tires on wet pavement. They are suppose to be a good tire in the rain and I was doing 75 on the highway no problem. I had good traction and it was actually quite refreshing to ride in the rain. It isn't something I'd like to do all the time but it wasn't bad when the temperature was in the 80's. It was a different riding experience. I just put my shield down and kept on going. I kind of enjoyed it actually although I got soaked.

Riding in the rain can be fun, just as long as you watch the turns and what you ride on. Strong, heavy rains with high winds are no fun though, especially when they last for hours.

I had a RoadSmart put on my rear tire at 15,000 and this weekend had the OEM front tire replaced with RoadSmart. I assume they'll work well in the rain since I didn't have a problem with the OEM tires either.
