Hello All:
I just installed Givi PL447 tubular brackets and Givi E-21 Bags on my Versys. They are the perfect size and look for the bike. Personally I think the large E35's and E41's make the bike look like a pregnant elephant. The E-21's do not stick out any wider than the handle bars. The entire kit was just under $350. from Sporttour.com I love 'um.

Great pics. The cases look nice. Forgive me for the noobie question/request, but would you mind posting a picture of the inside? What can you put in there? What I'm getting at is, how useful are they?

Thanks!

The interior dimensions are 16.5" long X 13.5" high X 7.5" wide, hope this helps.

Does anyone know for sure whether or not the Givi PL447 bracket will work with the stock Kawasaki top rack. I know that the stock top rack and stock pannier brackets are not compatible and also know that you can use the SW MOTECH brackets with the OEM stock top rack.

I was told by the fellas at Twisted Throttle that the Givi rack doesn't mesh with the Kawi top box (even though it is made by Givi!). I installed the Motech Kwik Carrier mounts and the Givi E21s with the Kawi top box and all fits well. The guys at Twisted Throttle are very knowledgeable & helpful.

Twerndli,

I like the folks at Twisted Throttle also, but they are dead wrong about this, as is Givi, who they (Twisted Throttle) are probably getting their information from. I asked Givi and they told me no also, however someone on the UK forum was able to do it. So I gave it a shot and ordered the PL447 plus kit for $184 including shipping from Sport Tour Ltd and just finished installing it a few minutes ago, it fits with no problems. The only glitch is that the photo for the turn signal relocation brackets are not the same ones that they sent, however once I figured out how they were supposed to be mounted that was OK, except for having to extend the LH turn signal wiring by splicing in and soldering a couple of 6-8" wires. The RH wires were long enough after a little rerouting work. I also purchased the E21's from Sport Tour for $163 including shipping and mounted them. I am pleased with the appearance, total cost in the project and FUNTIONALITY. Now the only thing I need to get is a set of 3 keyed alike locksets, which I have on order from Sport Tour also!

Great info Bobber - everything I could find pointed the other direction. Wish I'd have known the truth. I'll help spread the word.
