Jim, I can relate. Since a major motorcycle accident I let 18 years pass before getting back into it. Now they have much better gear for protection.

The sad news is, drivers are worse today than in the past. Please read all you can about safety and practice it.

Thanks for the welcome..My last street bike was a TR6 (thats old)..I have owned lots of dirt bikes, the last one was a YZ250 about 2 yrs ago. Quit riding woods, just getting to old to break anything else. One thing I would caution newbies on is the V handles so great that you start throwing it around before your ready..Love that bike..I feel 20 again..Jimbo
