Here's a new one folks. I had my 600 mile service today and the technician found that the oil window was weeping oil a little bit. He informed me that his Kawasaki rep had told him the this has been reported by a number of folks and is certainly a warranty repair item. The question will be whether kawasaki wants the dealer to replace and reseal the window or replace the entire crank case cover. Though I have checked the oil level through the window I think because the bike was on it's side stand that there wasn't enough oil against the window long enough for me to notice any weeping. I figured you DIY folks may want to know about this especially. :huh:
