Today I took my first long or sort of long ride, my longest yet.
165 miles. I,ve determinded 2 things must change. #1 the
seat has to modified in some way or order a corbin seat.
#2 A new windscreen is a given. ( I have one on order from twisted
throttle) I need to review all of the seat revision post and follow
their lead. I could not tolerate the forward lean to well. Finally
stoped by my aunts house and borrowed a thick towel used it
on the front of the seat . That seem to help a lot.

After these two issues are resolved I,LL be happy. The V is
a strong running little machine, can't wait to take it to
Arkansaw up highway 7 the scenic route. It will be a blast.

I guess I'm lucky to live about 20 minutes from Hwy 7. It's a great place to ride, although I haven't gotten the chance to take the Versys there yet.

I got behind a lady once just north of Hot Springs... hell, she rode the brakes going uphill!! I didn't think I was ever going to get home.. LOL

You must be unlucky mate, I've just done 250km round trip, this thing is so bloody comfortable, if i was in a car i'd probably fall asleep. For me there is no leaning forward either.

Its a spammer, that's what they do. Once they create an account, they post their crap in as many threads as they can until they get caught. As soon as you see their post, click the little triangle up in the right corner of their post & report it to admin. That's about all we can do....
