When you say perfect, as in just like new ones? Mine are in new condition obviously with only 188 miles on them. How many miles are on yours?

I was thinking of trading mine too, then I thought why trade when you can just paint them. I have a 2009 Green Versys with the silver, its black plastic painted silver, I like the look of black on green and will be painting mine. Its got to be better way to go than the hassle of shipping stuff around and trading in this case. Simple No?

I did this two days after I got my green '09 and it took 20 minutes. I'm a bit puzzled why more people don't simply paint, too. There are numerous durable rattlecan options out there.

Oh well. I suppose it's the "gotta have new" or "gotta have original" mentality. That's fine, but as for me, I'll save my cash for the important functional stuff. (I don't wax my new Wrangler, either, so it's probably me that's screwed up:o)
