I'm looking at some helmets that are on clearance. I wear a hi-vis Olympia Airglide 2 jacket. I also currently wear a hi-vis Scorpion EXO-700 helmet.

As much as I know I'm not exactly a fashion king riding down the road I do like to at least believe I'm somewhat complimentary in my fashion, so I'm wondering if either of these helmets would be complimentary in color to hi-vis.

I'm slightly leaning towards the green one, but the blue is pretty cool as well.

I ride a black Triumph Tiger, if that matters.

Give it to me straight fellas, don't be bashful. :)

Go with the blue if you are looking for complimentary colours.

I say go with green if you want to look like you're making an attempt to be color consistent. I have an Airglide and a yellow Nolan helmet, and the high viz definitely tends toward green.

I'd say green as well. However that blue looks good too. Green blue and yellow all compliment each other especially on a black bike. If you are going to spend the money on gear upgrades might as well get the colors right!:goodluck:

+1 what Bearcat said.
Want to know what will look good? Use your full riding suit, try on both helmets with you sitting on your Triumph Tiger.
Do this in front of a big mirror/ glass. You will see what you like.

Not in your choices, but a white helmet really stands out with a hi-vis jacket.

I've already decided my next helmet is going to be white, with just this in mind.

Why are you switching away from your Scorpion? Wind noise? That's my main complaint.

Like you need hi vis while riding an MP3. Those things cause more stares than a guy in a chicken suit by the side of the road.

I too think the Hi-Viz and White go well together.

good one bones!

I searched Google images for "guy in a chicken suit by the side of the road" and that's what came up. Best laugh I had all day, knew I had to share it.

I have a Scorpion EXO-700, they make a chin skirt for it, also fits the 400, that sells for $7. It reduces the wind noise by a large factor. Well worth the $7 investmet. I don`t know why they just don`t sell the helmet with it. I take it out in the heat of the summer but use it the rest of the year. Only issue is I need to use anti fog treatment on my visor with it as it increases fogging at traffic lights. Keeps you warmer in cold weather too. They also make different thickness cheek pads so you can get a more custom fit with their helmets.
