Greets,
so yesterday was the annual Toy Run in South Africa where bikers from all over the country gather to give less fortunate kids a happier festive season.
We joined the Cape Town ride, and jeepers was there a big turn out, I'm still waiting to see a numbers estimate in the media somewhere. Last year's Cape Town estimate was around 15 000 bikers with around 27 000 toys collected in Cape Town alone, apparently this year's turn out was even bigger. So country wide you can imagine. Brilliant.
Cops closed some lanes down for exclusive Toy Run use, even with that there was alot of stop and go.
Afterwards we popped over the mountain to Houtbay where we had some lunch before taking the scenic route home along the coast. Great day out for a good cause.
