Do you have black and want silver? Lets swap. My bike is an 09 model and only a month old. They are "like new". I will paint them if I have to, but thought I would try this route first. PM me or call me Kevin- 706- six one four- 3741. thanks

I'm OK with trading my black ones. But are you looking for pristine covers? My left one has a small scratch on it.

It's a little more obvious than what the picture shows.

Hey Tim those might be alright, " I was kinda wanting to put the 1st scratch on my bike all by myself, but you might have beat me to it- ha". Mine are pristine, but I do plan on doing more offroad stuff.............. call me and lets set it up. I am 1 hour east of Atlanta, so we are fairly close.

Why do that? Paint will chip and peel.

I think a lot of us have used Krylon Fusion Black Satin and mine haven't chipped or peeled. Just make sure you clean them really well before painting!

I swapped for a set of black ones. I like the look and am happy with the trade. If I had to do it again though, I'd probably just paint them, it's just easier and I think the paint holds up if you do proper prep and use the right paint.

I did swap with Tim_Brown. Good transaction. The black does look much better with my black wheels and trim. I am familiar with the Krylon Fusion, I did paint and bodywork for years- so I am aware its all about the prep. But, for me I am much happier with the factory solid colored plastic. No worries later on.

I'm in the same boat. I've got brand new silvers, want blacks. Anyone game...?
