Maybe I just have too much time on my hands or maybe I'm crazy. But, I just posted 2 computer enhanced pictures of my Versys. In one I colored my bikes rims black (on the computer). In the other I colored the whole bike black (on the computer). I'd like to get some feedback on these pictures on whether they think the bike would look better with more black on it or not. Thanks.

Uh - ok. Where are they? and what editor did you use; just out of curiosity. Some of the other threads with the black rims and frames on the bike look great.

I was thinking about changing the look of my Versys a little and almost done it for real. Then I decided I should play around on my computer and color in a picture to see what it would look like without actually doing it. And, I was just at a bike shop today and seen a couple of black rims and liked the way they looked on those bikes. A long time ago I think I put something on my computer from a disc that I got pictures on or something. In anycase I can toy around with colors or putting writing on pictures, etc.

I was thinking about painting a bunch of the trim pieces black and getting black wheels, but the silver is starting to grow on me.

Like 08 V., I was going to paint some bits black, but the silver has grown on me as well, keep trying to picture different colors I thought might look cool, but in the end the paint still sits unused, and the silver looks better and better!

Like you my paint still sits here also. I took a couple of the covers off, looked at them, decided not to paint them, and then put them back on the bike. I then painted it on the computer instead to see what it would look like. I figure if I do something like that and want to trade it in on a different bike I won't get anything for it. My bike already has high miles on with almost 6,000 miles and putting about 500 a week on it.

I've done a hybrid so far of your two options. Mine is Passion Red as well. I painted the radiator guards and the bottom removable kick panels Black and left the frame Silver, but I also want to paint my wheels Black. Once that's done I'll add a Red reflective wheel stripe around the wheel edges like the GP bikes are doing in the UK and the USA. Looks hot!:thumb:
