2003 BMW R1150RS w/ ABS
21,000 miles
Silver
System cases
Heated Grips
Adjustable Windshield
Rider Information Display (RID)
Adjustable seat and handlebars
Bar backs
Peg lowering brackets
New rear tire (less than 1K miles)
New rear brakes (less than 1K miles)
Bike is in great condition: Runs, rides, and handles perfectly with no issues. It needs nothing. I wouldn't hesitate to head out on it cross-country tomorrow.
Very good cosmetic condition: If you look closely enough I'm sure you could find a few normal stone chips or boot scuffs to be expected on a 6 year old bike, but no dents, dings, scrapes, etc.
I purchased the bike a few months ago and have been very satisfied w/ the performance, handling, and features (heated grips, adjustable windshield, and gear position indicator all sounded like "fluff" to me when I bought the bike, but now that I've ridden w/ them, I'm hooked), but the riding position (even w/ the bar backs) just doesn't work for me due to a nagging shoulder injury.
I'd really like to trade for something with a more upright riding position, and a Versys is high on my list (but I'd also consider others, such as a Triumph Scrambler, Wee Strom, Bandit 1200/1250, etc.). I also have it listed for sale with an asking price of $6000.
