Has anyone here owned or ridden a Z-750S? if so, what were your likes and dislikes. how would you compare it to a versys?

hey mawson. I do know. I rode the 750s . It has lot of hp 110 or so. smooth 4cylinder. seat it about as bad as the stock v. I has a weird center of gravity not very manuverable..moreso than the 1000. I rode this and the z 1000 before the v. The V handles better. It has a dirt bike agile feel. Both the 750 and the 1000 have a heavy center af gravity. The 750 would win over the z1000 unless you want scary fast. also these bikes are a bit more tricky to wheelie comfortably.:thumb:

I was thinking of getting the 750s:badidea: before I decided on the V. The issue surronding the Z-750s was its CG and its a fast bike unlike the V were you can take it easy. We have quite a number of fatal incident with this bike in our country, not because of the bike but the wrong bike for the wrong rider. If have the experience to handle the speed than I think the Z750 will suit you, but if have some chicken feeling somewhere in your system,( we all have) :forgetit:than the V will be a better choice.:goodluck:

I had one. Put about 10K miles on it.

It's a fun bike, buzzy fairing and poor seat like the V. Quite a bit quicker, smoother, good airflow from the fairing, decent brakes. I did trackdays on it, and some weekend rides of 600 or so miles. What's nice is it's sportbike quick without the clipon seating position.

I added a Corbin and some Genmar risers, other than that left her pretty much stock.

Here are a couple of photo's.

My friend bought it today. 2005 with 1038 miles. He got it from a guy we work with we knew he kept the bike up, just didn't ride it much. (wasn't so cool with him owning it and happy to see it go) I think he got a pretty good deal. $4300. The bike is still new....

Very nice Kawasaki z750s for sale.

I bought this bike new in 2007.

It has not been used nearly as much as I would have liked to.
With only 6600ish kilometers This 2006 Kawasaki is a great ride.

How about a 1200cc/150 hp motor in a Versys. Now THAT would be interesting :)
