Has anybody raised the fork tubes to quicken the steering? If so , how much? Any problems with high speed stability? Does the kick stand still work?

well, everyone with a lowered bike did that, mine is now all the way down to the smooth area. I like it more lowered, I recently reverted the bike to its original height/settings, and it seemed less planted when leaned over at higher speeds :) So the lowering kit went back on :)

I know someone who lowered the front 1" without a lowering kit, but she doesn't know the difference because the dealer did that when she bought it. At least I can tell you that the kickstand works with that.

Mr. Allriding, did you get a chance to ride your friends bike ? Notice any differences?

sorry, I didn't... however, if I can lower and raise the forks then everyone else can...lol

You still have couple months of riding left, plenty of time to test what you want.

Thanks All, I will, prolly this weekend. I never thought I'd say this but I'm missing at least a little forward lean. May try flatter bars as well.
