Scubs17934 06-18-2008, 05:56 PM The owners manual says to lube the chain every 400 miles with 90W gear oil. However, the bike came new lubed with the wax type lube. I know if I use the gear oil it will make a heck of a mess with fly off. I've been using the same stuff with good results so far, make sure to clean the chain well before using it, I like that it dries quickly and does not leave a oily mess afterwards to clean. Tried chain wax a while back, but found that it really attracted dust and dirt and felt that it probably wasn't doing the chain any good with all the grit. Mi dos centavos, | ||
