That thing is awesome. I seriously considered getting a monster before purchasing the versys but due to the fact that my wife wouldn't have much of a place to sit, I pretty much had to cross it off the list. Sweet bike though.

We have a deposit on one and are awaiting its arrival. It's going to be my wife's next bike as she's reached her limit with her GZ250. I had a chance to take the demo bike out the other day and it really is a nice bike - very easy to ride, nice suspension and unreal brakes.

The new Monster is the bike that got me thinking about selling my Moto Guzzi, which eventually led me to the Versys via other Ducatis, a Buell, and the V-Strom. I love the Monster, but it is a revvy, high-strung bike. I wanted something more relaxed and general-purpose, and The Versys manages to do a little of everything well enough for me. Sweet ride, though.
