I know there are many, but any thoughts on a good
bike backpack the kind that you wear on your person.

Also any thougths on a good and rugged bike cover. My
bike will spend lots of time in my employers parking lot.
I know I am going to need a good cover for it that is
waterproof.

I got a OGIO McGrath backpack... works nice, and there is plenty of room in it. As for a cover, I got a Dowco (medium sized) cover... fits great, solid construction.

I used a Nelson-Rigg Defender cover for my Suzuki DR650.I still have it,and would use it for my Versys, but It is probably too small. It is a quality product IMhO,and it looks great also. Cheers........Lefty.

I got a Under Armor backpack from sports authority that I really like. Its waterproof, has a nice foam backing on the side that goes against your back and has a lifetime replacement warranty. Very spacious and well built. They have them for 49.99
