Can't wait. I will be leaving Dallas/Ft. Worth on the 19th, headed to West Virginia (Clarksburg). I routed my plan using HD rider. I have a total of 1300 miles. Wanting to do the trip up there in two days. Trying to get as close to Nashville on the first day as my butt will allow. That would take 800 miles of my trip, leaving me 500 for the second day.

I pretty much have everything ready for my trip. But was wanting some advice on camping sites. Just enough to pitch a tent and take a shower.

I will be entering Mississippi on HWY 82, where i then get on the Natchez Trace PKWY. I will be following that road all the way to Nashville.

So can anyone suggest some camp sites along the Natchez Trace PKWY? Perferably on the Tennessee part of the road all the way to Nashville.

I've been thinking about a similar trip next year. I'm originally from WV & still have family in & around Logan. Can't help you with the camping, though. I'm a 'Holiday Inn' camper myself.

Hopefully i have the butt thing figured out.

Got a sheepskin cover and one of those camping pillows. I figure i will start off with just the stock seat, add the sheepskin when my but gets tired (200+), then add the pillow after that. We'll see.

So what happened? Did you go? Pics, hotels, good, bad? Spill it man!!
