just bought a luggage box off of ebay...a T-929..seems decent enough with the exception of the key lock/latch mechanism.....cant get it to latch and hold...seems flimsy and cheap..anyone:dgi: else bought one and had a problem with it...any issues with getting a replacement or refund????

I had the same problem with my Bestem top box.
The bottom of the box gets pushed back up by the little rubber bumpers before the latch clears the catch, so the case does not lock in place.

If you cut 1/8" off of the two bumpers nearest to the latch, it will probably lock fine.

I have two Ebay top cases and I am not happy with either of the latching mechanisms. Its Givi from now on for me.

Yeah that scares me considering when we commute there is usually two laptops, my wifes purse and a couple of expensive phones in our top case. I just don't trust the JCW latch so I will be replacing the trunk with an E45 Givi when I can.
