Has anyone heard if ABS will be offered on the 09 for the U.S.A. model?

I've had not heard or read anything with proof that they are.

In the USA bikes with ABS are getting more popular but still not very popular. I would have bought ABS if it was available.

If it had ABS, it would be the perfect bike for me...alas, I guess I'll have to wait until 2009. :(

I've got ABS on my Honda and just love it. On a couple of occasions when I've played "Boy Racer" above my skill level, it has saved my bacon.

Strange that you canīt get the V with ABS. Here in Germany you canīt buy it without...

For some reason, most american don't care if it has ABS... It also added about $500 to $1000 to the MSRP, that's why most bike mauufacturers don't bring the ABS model here.

I would buy the ABS version. One panic stop is already worth the price of the ABS!
