...I bought my V with an after market screen on it tha did not work for me. Thanks to Bill (Bad-Tat) I now have a stock screen. I mounted it upside down and just got back from a test ride. Perfect. Thanks Bill!

You're welcome Graham. Just did another 200 mile test of the smaller Parabellum. Still working great!!

It looks good too! I'll have to have one of those for winter riding.

I have both stock and oversized windscreens and not happy with either. I had a clearview windscreen left over from my old st1100. so I set it on and drilled the wholes to fit. It seems big but works like an st1100 windscreen. I had to remove the mirrors for the fit. but I had some bar end mirrors that bolted right on and I can see out them better than the stock mirror. the windscreen is 18 inches tall 18.5 inches wide at top. It has a pitch change on the last 5 inches on top. I'm only 30 miles down the canyon to Clearview so I'm going to take it by to have a new one made that matches the fairing lines better.

Im guessing flipping the stock windshield gives taller riders better coverage? Just a question

Actually it gives (me) less. I'm used to naked sport bikes with no screen. I like the wind to hit me in the chest and for my helmet to be completely in the wind.

I had the problems with the shield:( too but since it is more narrow it's OK:). I have made special adjustable holders for my bike but now I will offer them for sale.
They are laser cut stainless steel and CNC machined aluminium alloy. The price is 48.-EUR and postage additional 8,30EUR Economy or 12,85EUR Priority.
Any interest:confused: More informations at algard@siol.com:welcome:

seems like lots of bikes have this prob...bandits, fz1 (old version), tigers, etc...the shield is too far away from the rider...I cut an ex500 shield in half and mounted it 2" on the inside of my stock tiger shield and it really cut down the buffeting, though it's pretty ugly. I also shimmed the bottom 2 mounting bolts for more angle and more air let thru at the bottom...sounds like this might work on the V, too.
hey N17, very nice looking brackets!
