Hey Lukas! Have you thought of something like the Vapor? Since you're using a dirt bike, I think it might be better for what you're trying to go for...

I would love to use some custom gauges, in fact I have a Touratech IMO-100R300 which is even better than the Vapor sitting in a box. However I thought that the 650 required you to run the original gauge cluster with it? If not that would be great news!

I'm not sure about that. I can't honestly say either way. Why would the 650 require the OEM cluster? Did you rad that somewhere? I would imagine (& really, I'm guessing) that it would take a bit of figuring, but it can be done...

By the way, I can't wait to see your project when you're done!!

I didn't read it anywhere, it was just my experience with other modern FI bikes. Guess I'll check all the wiring connections again to make sure that's not the problem.

I now also have a Ninja speedo coming from the US (reads in miles of course....) so I'll figure it out either way.
