Hi guys.

I was wondering if anyone makes an adapter you can plug into your battery that has a cigarette lighter type connection on the other end. I know they are out there I just can seem to get the description right for the search engine.

Do any of you have a link to these adapters? Or what they are called? I am mainly wanting to hook up my satellite radio to my bike and one of these will complete the deal.

Thanks. :)

Weather resistant, easy to install. Picked up the socket from an auto parts store (Auto Zone) for less than $10. Had the fuseholder, wire, zipties and cable ends left over from other projects.

It is wired hot and fused for 5 amps. Will mainly be used for cellphone charging and GPS.

Thanks guys, these were exactly what I was looking for. I think im going to install mine under the seat because the actual adapter for my SkyFi3 XM radio is huge. It would look really silly sticking out of my dashboard.

Ahhhh...new project to look forward to. :)
