I finally found a '08 Versys and will be picking it up Monday. I'm excited.
I'm heading out to see some of the country in about two weeks and need gear before then.

Thanks for the input Neil. I just got home with my new to me Versys.
I just ordered a windshield from Mike on Sunday.
So what I need is a rear rack and maybe a rack for saddlebags, like SW Motech or Givi.

I can't speak for the rest of the bunch here but I'm sure as hell not gonna find the time to pick the phone up and call you to chat about what 'touring gear' you need. i even have lots of cell minutes in my plan...Call me selfish:D You might get some response if you be a bit more specific in your needs. I'm not even sure what a Windshield-Versys is?
