Had my Versys since October 07, got 3k miles on it. Best bike I've ever had. Also have a KLR which I enjoy on logging, gravel roads etc.

Hope this bike catches on in the US, at the moment sales are slow (bike sales in general are slow, US weather has been terrible in many parts of the country). There are a number of unsold at the dealers, but Kawasaki hasn't put any advertising out there yet. Its a big seller in Europe and it gets great reviews from all the US magazines.

Maybe because most are leery of trying something new.

Then again, in Europe, they are much more practical about bikes. In the US, image is the big thing. Big CCs and big bike.

We'll see what happens this Spring if sales pick up. I think the word will spread.
