I bought a Kappa top case. Since the Kappa case already came with a Monolock base, I ordered my Givi rack with a Monkey base in case I ever wanted to switch to Monokey.

Wrong! The bolt hole pattern on the Kappa supplied base doesn't line up with the Givi rack. I don't know what the &%#& kind of rack Kappa bases work with but it's not Givi. Why do they make a Givi compatible case if it won't fit on a Givi rack? I'm really, really, really p&%$ed.

Does anyone have a Monolock base they want to swap for a Monokey base? Obviously it has to fit on a Givi rack.

Okay, I figured this out and I feel kinda stupid. Givi mounting plates are not universal to all Givi racks. For the Versys I need the mounting plate specific to the Givi FZ rack. I bought the Kappa box from a guy with a Ducati. The Ducati must use a style of rack different than the FZ. I'm going to start a new thread in a different forum to clarify part numbers, etc.
