A quick tutorial on how to change your oil and filter.

Hmm, my bike came with Filter 16097-0004 and that's what the dealer sold me to replace.

Wonder what the difference is to the 1072 part number mentioned here.

I did not remove the black plastic to change my oil, didn't need to. Filter and drain are easily accessible.

I appreciate and highly recommend dstarman's method to keep the oil off the header.

I did not, takes a couple minutes to burn off. Thanks for the tip.
